|Recommended: YesInteresting Area — The area has changed over the last few years. I guess its getting better. This area just has a lot of homeless and stuff goes on around here. Its mostly a quiet area. I have lived here for four years so I must like the location. The new company is improving the property, and its looks a lot better. I'm looking forward to the new gym and study areas.
|Recommended: YesSo Far So Good — This apartment complex and team is great for the college life. I would recommend it to anyone who is in college. The front office helps with any questions or concerns that individuals might have. The complex has a club house that has acesss to computers, a gym, and pool spa. Very well maintained and overall great community. Also the apartments are up to par for a person to hop into and start living.
|Recommended: YesNo Big Complaints — So far, my experience with University Village Apartments has been good. I like that we have a gym, a basketball hoop, and a pool available to residents. The thing I would suggest improving on is parking.
|Recommended: YesIt Is By Far The Best I Have Lived In. — It is by far the best I have lived in.
|Recommended: YesGreat — 200 Reccomend
|Recommended: YesGreat — I love my apartment. This is the first apartment I've had that i'm proud to have people over. I've had a few problems but they are fixed very quickly I brag about this place all the time.
|Recommended: YesIs Good For A Student Everything Is Close — This apartments are very cozy, close to school, and people treat you with respect
|Recommended: YesGreat — Its good start. I only see college students walking around. There is no chocs other then traffic.
|Recommended: YesNot Too Bad — parking is not good, the price is good, floor carpets need some maintenance, non gated community but close to the fwy. for a young person student its good but, if you are professional who is picky about the apartment quality and want to bring grown up friends, this is not the place you would want to live here. in all Honesty
|Recommended: YesAffordable Student Living — This is a great place for students to live if attending Sacramento State. The staff in the front office are nice and genuine. Maintenance could improve A LOT. Their finishes on the apartment like paint and flooring were not done in a quality fashion. Some of the carpet is peeling off and the paint drops are still visible everywhere. The choice of greenery they choose definitely needs an upgrade. I have put in a work order over a week ago and I have had not one phone call or email saying they have received it or is trying to make an effort to fix it. Although it is an affordable place for students to live, these apartments are in great need of some updates.
|Recommended: YesIt's Very Peaceful Relaxing — You couldn't ask for more
|Recommended: YesGood Property To Live In While In College — It is nice living here because it is close to the campus. It is great having everything included in the rent.
|Recommended: YesI Love The Property And The Community, But The Staff Could Learn Better Customer Service. — The community is great, lovely greenery, and neighbors are not an issue. The staff in the office can be rude at times and I have had maintenance lock my laundry in the laundry room. When I tried to call, no one answered and the security was no where to be found. They can be slow about things a well. I was told it was due to them changing management. Although I have not had the best of communication with the staff, I would recommend this location because of the property and the great people around the area.
|Recommended: YesGood For Students — I have lived at University Village for a year now and I have renewed my lease to live here for another year. I think that if you're looking for the best value as a college student, this is it. I have done thorough research on other apartment complexes in the area and there is no other complex that is as affordable as UV. Nearly all utilities are included, individual leases protect people from potentially bad roommates, and the location is unrivaled. However, you do get what you pay for. The complex is old -- built in the 70s -- and is undergoing some renovations. These are not luxury apartments, but they are a good place to start for broke college kids.
